I've been shopping at the Avenue again. It's time to wake up my wardrobe for spring. I
found dresses for the office, church, garden parties and especially dinner dates, along with wonderful shoes and accessories. They have the most stylish, fashion-forward products that I have found anywhere. This is a plus size store as well as clothing for ladies and children.
I know the weather is awful right now, unless you live someplace like Hawaii, but just as fast as Christmas got here, summer will get here too. The kids will be out of school before you know it and will need summer clothing, and jackets will all be on sale. The only outerwear you will need will be your cover-ups for the beach. AlwaysForMe has gotten ready in advance and already have a huge selection of plus size apparel for the beach. Sexy bathing suits as well as skirted bathing suits. They have just received a tremendous shipment of plus size women's swimdresses and cover-ups. They are repeating their show-stopping Goddess style this season, and have a full selection of tankinis, skirtinis, and swimminis. Get your trendy beach clothing early! Look below for their banner which makes you want to leave and go there right this minute. Well, you probably already wanted to anyhow.Don't you just love all these January clothing sales? I believe every store in business is trying to sell out to the walls. I've found great bargains on everything from jeans and tee shirts to career separates. I'm one size on top and another size on the bottom (larger!), so I like it when I find separates that match. I usually go for casual comfort clothes now that I'm older. Back elastic waist is a plus too. I used to walk for hours and hours through the stores in January to take advantage of all the great sales, but now I just shop online. At my age that's a blessing. I found a buy-one-get-one-free sale on handbags already and some fuzzy, warm loungewear. You need warm loungewear so you can keep your heat temperature lower and save energy and money too. You can find some great bargains at Petite Sophisticates until January 25.

Buying jeans has become quite a task for me in the last few years. I can't figure out which jeans to buy. There is classic, boot cut, stovepipe, straight leg, and trouser cut jeans. Mr. Ron Stafford Hagwood of the South Florida Sun-Sentinel has the most informative article on jeans that I have read to date. He says that "if you want a shapelier rear, look for jeans with yokes or rear seams that angle downward. If you have a bit of a tummy, look for jeans cut higher in the back than the front in a boot cut with Lycra-enhanced fit." So THAT'S what I needed to know now to help in my search. I'll find those for a bit of a tummy. The young and slender can wear the stovepipe.
