The HCRHS Business Department recognizes that our business society is forever changing. Advancements in technology are evolving at an amazing rate in both the areas of existing technology and in the creation of new technologies. The Business Education Department offers a curriculum designed to prepare students for those life skills that will be utilized at HCRHS, in future academic endeavors, as well as, to provide the foundation of those everyday living skills that will make them successful functioning members of society. The Business Education Department offers a curriculum that meets these needs in the following areas:
1. Computer applications skills and techniques that meet the State of New Jersey computer and information literacy core content standards.
2. The use of problem-solving skills, utilizing state-of-the-art technology for the transition from school to work and/or post secondary education.
The business faculty is committed to revising and enhancing course offerings to meet the latest technological demands and skills for the business world of today and tomorrow.
